Privacy Policy

What Kovura stores

Everything below is stored on your device only, inside the app:

• Workouts, sets, reps, weights, RPE, notes, and routines you log
• Daily check in answers (soreness, energy, sleep, condition flags, notes)
• Body metrics you enter, such as weight and height, and your name, age, and training preferences
• Progress photos, if you add any. They stay on your device.
• Your settings and layout choices

Apple Health

If you connect Apple Health, Kovura reads heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep, and nutrition data to calculate your recovery and load. If you allow it, Kovura also writes your completed workouts to Health. This data stays on your device. Kovura does not send Health data to us or to anyone else, and does not use it for advertising or marketing. You can change or remove access at any time in the Health app or in iOS Settings.

iCloud backup (optional)

If you turn on iCloud backup in Settings, your Kovura data is stored in your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, so you can restore it on your devices. We cannot see it. Apple's privacy terms apply to iCloud.

AI features

Workout generation uses Apple's on device AI model. Your requests are processed on your device and are not sent to us.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether your subscription is active.

Feedback and email

If you send feedback from the app, it goes to us by email, and we receive the message you write and your email address. We use it only to respond and improve the app. We process this data based on your consent and our legitimate interest in providing support. We do not use your support emails for marketing or newsletter lists.

How long we keep support emails

We delete support emails within 24 months of resolving your request, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

What we do not do

We do not have user accounts, use analytics or advertising tools, track you across apps or websites, or sell or share your personal information.

Links to other sites

Some screens can open outside links, such as an exercise video search on YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy practices.

Your control

Because your data lives on your device, you control it. You can export it or delete it in Settings under Data and Privacy, and deleting the app removes its local data. If you used iCloud backup, manage that data in your iCloud settings. Regardless of your location, you have the right to access, export, or delete your data, which you can do directly inside the app's settings.

Children

Kovura is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
