Kovura FAQ: Questions people actually ask
No. Kovura works from logged workouts alone, with graceful confidence tiers. If you do have HRV or sleep data in Apple Health, it factors that in automatically. No watch? Turn on the camera HRV scan (beta): a 60-second fingertip scan over your phone's camera in the daily check-in. It's opt-in, free, and only counts on days without watch HRV. Sleep-adjusted muscle recovery (beta) uses the sleep times in Apple Health.
Yes. You don't need to know how to build a program. Pick a goal in Starter Plans (Get Stronger, Get Fit, Stay Healthy or Sport Season) and Kovura sets up a week of workouts sized to your training experience. Or tap Generate Workout for a single session built around your most recovered muscles. There are no built-in video tutorials yet. Each exercise has a button that opens a YouTube search for form videos.

The free app keeps the workout logger, the daily readiness score with its WHY? explainer, today's advice, the body map colours, Apple Health sync and the last 7 days of trends. Kovura is in open beta on TestFlight for iPhone. It's free to download. Beta testers keep Premium free for good. After launch, Premium is $4.99 a month or $34.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan.
